Ajay Devgan’s Singham has opened to a buffer response by single screens (both in deep cities and lesser towns), but the start was decelerate by multiplexes. The all-India opening is likely to be roughly 70% which would mean collections in the range of 8 – 10 crores.
Singham is almost cool of the trice touch in the biggest openers of the time like Ready, which opened well by both single screens and multiplexes.
Word-of-mouth is lovely and collections must wait strong right through the weekend. The film released dear departed afternoon by several multiplexes due to the dispute. So while the Friday figures are probable to be a little let fall than predicted, Saturday and Sunday must witness enormous leap in enterprise.
Wish Saturday collections recover larger than Friday, like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara continue week or will the usual trend of Saturday’s being a little let fall than Friday last?
